Australia's strong presence at APEC 2020

The APEC Business Ethics for APEC SMEs Initiative has just launched its first virtual Forum, commencing 13 October 2020, which will convene hundreds of stakeholders for the launch of Vision 2025 and for important discussions about strengthening business integrity amidst COVID-19.

AEHA is pleased to be well represented within the Forum, with several AEHA members participating as speakers during the APEC Forum. AEHA is proud to have played a leading role in ‘Vision 2025’. AEHA Chair Adrian Cosenza features at 2:14 in the launch video for Vision 2025:

AEHA are also pleased to note that Mr Evan Holley, APEC Small and Medium Enterprises Working Group Chair, noted AEHA’s value in the Australian healthcare sector in his recent APEC blog post, saying that: "In Australia, we are privileged to have formed the Australian Ethical Health Alliance (AEHA), enjoying support and engagement with nearly every health system stakeholder in Australia—bringing more than seventy partners to the same table to promote shared ethical principles." Mr Holley recognises that "we cannot reinforce business ethics and integrity without multi-stakeholder collaboration," which is a key pillar of AEHA’s aims.

AEHA looks forward to supporting APEC's 'Vision 2025', which is designed to serve as a roadmap for health-related sectors to uphold integrity and welcomes ongoing discussion with the APEC governments on how to best achieve improved ethics and integrity in the healthcare sector.
