AEHA 2022 Symposium: 'COVID-19 and Equity'

The Australian Ethical Health Alliance invites you to join a sector-wide symposium on the topic: 'COVID-19 and Equity' from 12pm–1.30pm AEDT on Wednesday 26 October 2022.

The theme will encompass how the most vulnerable in healthcare have been treated throughout the pandemic: how it happened; why it happened; and what it means for AEHA and the way healthcare is organised. Discussions will also explore the issue of equity of access to vaccines and treatments. An indigenous and multicultural lens on ‘access’ will also be brought to the forefront, including discussions around neglected populations throughout the pandemic.

The symposium will be held as a virtual webinar. Registration is now open as follows:

The Symposium will include our guest speaker presentations and 30 minutes of open discussion between the audience and all panellists. It is planned that the symposium will be a highly interactive event.

The symposium, with a particular focus on equity throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, will be particularly valuable in determining healthcare practices for now and in the future.
